Evopod™ is a semi-submerged, floating, tethered tidal energy capture device. It uses a simple but effective mooring system that allows the free floating device to maintain optimum heading into the tidal stream.

Oceanflow Development Limited is delighted to have secured a 7 year lease from The Crown Estate on an area of seabed in Sanda Sound, South Kintyre. The lease will allow Oceanflow to deploy and test its Evopod™ floating tethered tidal stream turbine at the site from 2013.
Alex Salmond, Scotland's First Minister, viewed Oceanflow's mono-turbine E35 when opened TRESTA – The Renewable Energy Skills Training Academy. TRESTA is based within the premises of Steel Engineering's Renfrew facility where Oceanflow's E35 unit is under construction.
